Welcome to our 2026-27 Season!

Dear Friends,

Welcome to the 11th season of Jasper Chamber Concerts. We are excited to share in this year’s adventure of inspiring music and extraordinary artists.

This season features a world premiere by composer Brittany J. Green and wonderful musical collaborations. Double bassist Anthony Manzo joins the Jasper Quartet on the season opener for Antonín Dvořák’s delightful String Quintet No. 2. In May, violist Jessica Thompson and cellist Jia Kim join for Arnold Schoenberg’s mystical string sextet, Verklärte Nacht.

We are honored to continue the Christine Kim Young Artist Award, now in it’s fourth season. This award, given to a string player or string chamber ensemble for extraordinary artistry in a performance of a work written after 1980, includes a performance on our season finale.

Additionally, we are pleased to continue our JCC Community Connections initiative, in partnership with WRTI and Allegro Music Consultants. Community Connections brings the power of world-class chamber music and diverse programming to community venues. In the 2026/2027 season, JCC Community Connections will present six days of educational programming in Philadelphia public schools, fostering love and passion for music and art in a new generation.
